Defender Youth Size & Fit Guide

Source: Battle Sports’ official size charts. The table below is Battle’s published Defender youth chart; the source does not provide a separate Transformer-edition chart.

How to Measure

Stand relaxed and have someone measure straight across your back from one AC joint to the other. The AC joint is where the shoulder meets the collarbone, just above the armpit. Choose shoulder-pad sizing by this measurement, not age alone.

Battle recommends a snug fit rather than extra room to grow. Phantom and Defender have different size runs; do not assume the same size label fits identically across models.

When to Contact Support

Contact support before ordering if your measurement is exactly at a size boundary, outside the chart, or you need Transformer-edition fit confirmation. Battle’s boundary wording and example in the supplied chart conflict, so confirm boundary sizes rather than guessing. Include your AC-to-AC measurement and the model and size you are considering.
